...More about the Oyster House

In fact, our signature menu item—the hard-to-find pompano fish—is so good, you’ll leave nothing but the bone by the time you’re through—and we still get asked about the popular pan-seared grouper recipe that Chef Bobby Flay featured on the Food Network several years ago!

We love trying out delicious new dishes, and we hope you’ll enjoy our Key West turkey burger laced with nutmeg and several other tasty, tropical delights. We’ve added lobster tail scampi and Rock & Stone (Oysters Rockefeller with stone crab) items that are destined to become menu favorites for our customers.

For the fishermen out there, we’ll be happy to cook up your catches and turn them in to a “reel” treat, because you can’t get anything fresher than something you’ve just caught.

Our staff will be glad to tell you about the daily food and drink specials, and give you some suggestions about the fun things to do and see in the area.

Before or after you’ve enjoyed your lunch or dinner, be sure to browse our restaurant and check out the fascinating décor. We’ll be happy to share the captivating stories behind the mounted fish and wildlife you’ll see hanging on the walls, as well as the pictures of visiting celebrities—such as Joe Namath, Arnold Palmer, Joe Pesci and Danny Glover—who stopped by the Oyster House during their stay in the Everglades.

The Oyster House’s spectacular, waterfront views, Old Florida charm, and succulent seafood make it an ideal spot for wedding receptions, family reunions, club banquets, and corporate meetings—and group rates are available.

Our distinctive location provides picturesque sunsets while overlooking one of our area’s exceptional treasures—the 10,000 Islands. This is how one naturalist described their magic:

"To the casual stranger, each and every part of the region looks exactly like the rest; each inlet and water passage seems but the counterpart of hundreds of others. Even those familiar with its tortuous channels often get lost, wandering hopelessly for days among its labyrinth ways."

With all of this in mind, we would like to welcome you to the Oyster House, where you walk in as a stranger and leave us as one of our well-fed friends.

So...Relax and Enjoy all that the Oyster House Restaurant, Southwest Florida and the Everglades has to offer, and be sure to tell your friends!
